Rod Wave’s Don’t Look Down (Alamo) is projected at a first-week total of 115k-125k, buoyed by a massive footprint at Apple Music, where Wave currently holds 12 of the top 20 positions. The rapper-singer kicks off his two-month Live Nation U.S. arena tour on Sept. 12 in Philly.
Atlantic’s Alex Warren, whose “Ordinary” is still Top 50 on Spotify global and will be soundtracking first dances long after we’ve turned to dust, is expected to come in at 75k-80k with his sophomore album, WILDCHILD.

Alamo’s Rod Wave is cresting toward a six-figure splashdown on this week’s HITS Top 50 chart; his Don’t Look Down is poised for a #1 bow driven overwhelmingly by streams. Mosco, Juliette and crew say the water’s fine.
WILDCHILD, the new one by Atlantic’s Alex Warren, has #2 in its sights with a projected total dominated by pure sales.
Columbia’s Ella Langley, Geffen’s Olivia Rodrigo (fresh from her Daisy Chain Fields triumph) and Big Loud/Mercury’s Morgan Wallen are on track to round out the Top 5.
Love for the late, great Dolly Parton keeps her Ultimate hits comp (RCA Nashville) in the Top 10.
KAROL G’s NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO (Bichota/Interscope), propelled by #1 global Spotify hit “BbY WOW,” has a good shot at entering the Top 10, though it’s anyone’s guess if she, Mercury’s Noah Kahan or HYBE x Geffen’s KATSEYE will land the #10 spot.
The Top 20’s only other debut will come courtesy of Lava/Republic’s Mexican rock sibs The Warning, whose Everything’s Falling parlays impressive pure sales into a 27k opening frame.
