Rain On Me: 4,330,828 - Certified 2xPlat by the RIAA. Eligible for 4xPlat. (YTD: 334,085)
Stupid Love: 1,794,887 - Certified Plat by the RIAA. (YTD: 91,297)
Sour Candy: 884,113 - Certified Gold by the RIAA. (YTD: 48,890)

!!! -These songs totals are just album versions. No remixes, alternative versions or streams coming from compilations, etc are included so the real total might be higher. Hopefully I can get the songs totals on their own as well. I’ll post them if I get them-

Everything as I “predicted” a few weeks ago in my estimations except for Sour Candy, which I thought would be above 1M by now and thus Platinum eligible.
By this time next year, it should probably get there as well as Stupid Love above 2M. Maybe sooner if the LG7 release and an eventual new tour gives them a little push.

13.5 Platinum undercertified just from the ASIB era.
Is That Alright will be Platinum eligible in a few weeks.
IDKWLI will be Gold eligible next year.
And Shallow will be 12xPlat eligible probably by February.

HUGE numbers for the era but specially pleased with ARUTW. A non US single (and solo!) that is 5xPlatinum eligible…

1,120 units sold last week.
2024 YTD: 49,981

It’ll sell around 60k units in US in 2024.

Certified Platinum by the RIAA in 2017.
It should reach 2M in three years or so.

Joanne is the “full” update. I didn’t get the regular one. (Same with ASIB).
Take into account though that we don’t have tons of remixes or alternative versions of its songs on digital and streaming platforms, just two MR remixes and the piano version of Joanne. So I don’t think there’s a big difference with the “regular” total. In Chromatica’s case, for example, the full update total is only 50k higher than the regular one I posted.

No, I don’t have the songs individual info -yet-.
I’ll post it if/when I get it.

ARTPOP

Updated in 31/10/2024

i had an update for her albums including every songs’ ICRs and not only album versions. This means other versions of the song(s) and not only the streams coming from the album are counted as well here.

So, the “FULL” update is:

Albums w/TEA w/SEA On-Demand
2,031,072

Albums w/TEA w/SEA On-Demand Audio
1,779,427

Albums w/TEA
1,277,563

Album Sales
816,177
-Physical: 504,189
-Digital: 311,988

Digital Songs
4,613,859

Streaming On-Demand
1,033,869,091
-Audio: 666,816,473
-Video: 367,052,618

1,512 units sold last week.
2024 YTD: 57,419

It’ll sell around 60k units in US in 2024.

As you’ll see, compared to the old update, the sales and TEA increase is only that of these 4 weeks in between, it’s on the streaming on-demand figures where the difference goes… 292M more, which translates into 227K extra copies. (Including as well the difference increase of the 4 weeks in between, of course).

It’s unclear if RIAA will only count the units on the previous update with album streams only, or if the “full” update is used instead.

If it’s this one, it’s already 2xPlatinum eligible. If it’s the other one, we’ll have to wait.

Reply about RIAA rules and alternative versions of a song don't count towards the album

However, it’s not only that those extra units are coming from remixes or instrumentals but also from streams or sales of the songs, album version, if they’re not coming directly from the album but from compilations or the single version separately etc.

On the other hand, in Artpop case, for example, the Walmart version of the album includes two remixes of Applause. So, not sure, but probably those remixes sales and streams can be attached to the album as well for certification purposes.

BONUS

Singles/Promos (Updated in 3/10/2024)

Applause: 5,446,294 - Certified 4xPlat by the RIAA. Eligible for 5xPlat***. (YTD: 302,181)
Do What U Want: 1,525,148 - Certified Plat by the RIAA. (YTD: 53)
G.U.Y: 592,719 - Not certified by the RIAA. Eligible for Gold. (YTD: 43,708)
Venus: 381,850- (YTD: 20,355 )

*!!! -These songs totals are just album versions. No remixes, alternative versions or streams coming from compilations, etc are included so the real total might be higher. Hopefully I can get the songs totals on their own as well. I’ll post them if I get them- *

***Applause total might indeed be above 6M with the full single update and thus, 6xPlat eligible.

I wonder where the 53 units this year for DWUW came from… as it’s not available anywhere.

The Fame Monster (EP)

Updated in 11/2024
Reply about confusing numbers of TFM (Deluxe)/TFM (EP)

Tomorrow I’ll post The Fame and The Fame Monster numbers… but, warning, they’re a mess…

As suspected, it’s very confusing as both albums are counted separately in these files, but while they have their own pure sales (the 8 track EP on one hand, and TF original plus TF+TFM deluxe on the other), the streaming on demand and digital songs shown is the same for both entries.

So, I’ll share the numbers as they are, but they’re useless when it comes to figuring out what the certifications for both albums separately must be by now for RIAA (as her label/team decided to certify them separately).

The Fame: 412,271 - Not certified by the RIAA. (YTD: 15,963)

Rest of the songs below 400k.

Reminder, this is what RIAA states for singles certifications:

Multiple versions of digital tracks can be combined for the purposes of certification under the following guidelines:

tracks defined as ‘radio mix’ or ‘album version’
edited and explicit versions
remixes, provided they are not more than 90 seconds longer than the original version

When applying for the certification of a single award with multiple versions of a digital track, the label will be responsible for confirming which versions have been previously applied towards the certification of the single.

*‘Live’ recordings of a digital track may not be combined with other versions for the purpose of certification but may be certified separately.

So the total figure for all these songs for RIAA purposes is definitely much higher.
