Rumor has it Christina Aguilera will join Singers, biggest Chinese song contest show, following the huge success of Jessie J. She has registered Douyin (Chinese TikTok) and Bilibili (Chinese YouTube) accounts just recently. Rumor says she got paid 20M dollars for it.
Despite being an icon in Western music world, CA is not an memorable name in China. On biggest Chinese music streaming platform QQMusic, she is not even top 100 in western female singers. Her most popular song Moves Like Jagger has less than 900 active listeners, followed by Say Something which has ~200.
